Rev. Angie Mabry, Interim Pastor

On June 9, 2019, First Presbyterian Church of Plano welcomed Rev. Angie Mabry as our new Interim Pastor. Together FPC and Pastor Angie will transition the congregation and prepare it for the next steps in God’s plan for it. We will utilize the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s Transitional Ministry curriculum.

Pastor Angie has been a member in good standing of Grace Presbytery since 2014, when she transferred her ordination from the Reformed Church in America. She received her Master of Divinity in 2004 from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan, and will celebrate 17 years of pastoral ministry in August 2021. Angie serves on the Presbytery’s Committee on Preparation for Ministry and is active in the North Texas Presbyterian and Celebration communities. A daughter of God, Mama Bear to two vivacious Cubs, Sophia and Zoe, and lover of all things theological, Angie enjoys exercising (especially Yoga), learning and experiencing new adventures, and big belly laughs.

Service is at 10:30 am every Sunday. All are welcome to worship the Lord at FPC, Plano and to hear Pastor Angie’s inspiring sermons.

”God is the center of my life. Three in one, one in three, the Triune God is my rock, true North, and raison detre (reason for being). All that is emanates forth from God, and God is sovereign over it.”
